Lisbon Town Rec is eager to present it’s newest program: Lisbon Karate!
This program is open to all ages and all levels of experience. It’s a great way to be active! Classes will be starting on June 28, 2010 for all ages. Classes will be on Mondays and Thursdays starting at 6pm in the Lisbon Town Hall Gym.
Shorin Ryu Karate is a traditional style of Karate which teaches respect, discipline, perseverance, self defense, and much more. Under the instruction of Certified Instructor Sensei David Wattie, students will learn to defend themselves while learning the traditional techniques and skills of the art.
Classes will be FREE for the first 5 weeks of the program as part a trial program. During this trial period, uniforms (Gi) will not be necessary. This is a great opportunity for individuals to learn to defend themselves while at home and away.
If you’re interested in giving Karate a try, learning how to defend yourself and your family, come and try Lisbon Karate!
To register, download the 2010 Karate Free Trial Program flyer & bring a signed copy to class. You can register for the free trial program at any class by July 29th.
